The Morgan Farm has been owned by 4 generations of the Morgan Family. Amos and Betsy lived in the house during the first half of the 19th century, Asa and Martha during the later, Wallace and Ada during the early 20th century, and finally Asa and Rita during the last part of the 20th century. The Morgans were successfull town polititions and farmers. Asa Morgan became the supertintendent of the Bow poor farm in 1861, which allowed the poor in Town to have a home and a place to work. During the 20th century, the Morgan Farm cultivated hay specially grown for horses. The Morgan's Barn housed horses and hay grown in the surrounding fields.
